Unified user access for companies serviced by the “Corporate Solutions Center”
About the project:
Established in February 2019 based on the NLMK Group accounting center, the “Corporate Solutions Center” is an in-house service arm of the NLMK Group. The Center offers a spectrum of services aimed at supporting and enhancing corporate functions such as: accounting and tax records, human resources documentation, treasury and insurance, standardization and certification, procurement, managerial consulting, and more.
Migrating corporate services to a unified center enhances operational efficiency by integrating best practices, standardizing and optimizing procedures and processes, advancing IT tools, and establishing competence centers. The Center’s primary clientele includes entities from the NLMK Group, the “First Freight Company”, UCL Holding, and the Transportation Group managed by T. A. Management. Over 100,000 users avail the services of this unified center.
In 2019, the integration of the Blitz Identity Provider laid the basement for a unified authentication system for the Center’s web applications, catering both to users from the corporate directory and those from serviced companies.
Ensure the capability for a unified access into the Center’s web applications using the existing user accounts in NLMK Group, the Center’s own corporate directory, as well as the accounts from serviced companies.
- The Blitz Identity Provider authentication system facilitated a unified access for users of serviced companies into the Center’s web applications.
- End-to-end domain authentication (Kerberos) was implemented, allowing users to access from their work PCs.
- Two-factor authentication was enabled for users accessing from their personal devices via the internet.
- Federative interaction was set up between the Blitz Identity Provider in the Center and the Blitz Identity Provider in the NLMK Group. Users from the NLMK Group can now access the Center’s web applications using the NLMK Group’s authentication system.
